Meet Rachel and Keith
Birdboxview is a two-person-only family business.
We are very lucky to work in our home in the lovely south Cornwall countryside. Keith is the tech wiz and does the woodwork and heavy lifting, while Rachel is usually near her PC and very much enjoys answering customers phone queries as well as doing all the buying and selling and the more boring admin!
Our story
How we began, our camera nestbox journey. We have always been keen bird and nature watchers. In 2009 we had placed a sparrow terrace below our bedroom window and after hearing the busy birds nesting there for two years we wanted to observe the activity inside the nests for ourselves.
However we were unable to find another terrace containing what we wanted at the price we wanted – so Keith made one himself! Very quickly we found ourselves making camera boxes for our family, then for friends and by 2012 we were selling well online.
